ABOUT
Hi! I’m Sky. I’m a digital marketing freelancer in the outdoor industry.
But that’s not the full story… First and foremost, I’m a skier, a class III certified raft guide, and an all around mountain person. Hailing from the Elk Range in Colorado, I grew up with Mount Crested Butte as my backdrop.
After graduating from Franklin University Switzerland with a degree in marketing and a minor in exploring the Alps, I set out to bridge the gap between working and playing in the outdoor world.
I cut my teeth in digital marketing first as a coordinator at Taos Ski Valley, before joining the iconic Warren Miller Entertainment where I spent the next 4 years dialing in my marketing chops, also working on projects for the Fly Fishing Film Tour, SKI Magazine, NASTAR Ski Racing, and Outside, Inc.
My experience over the past 6 years has ranged from spearheading email campaigns to social media management to website optimization and promotional campaign planning. With a focus on storytelling and data driven decision making, I’m skilled in the strategy of guiding customers from awareness through to the purchase stage.
